"OG" Bar - Original Gangster Spreader Bar

A West Coast Killer, this  "OG” (Original Gangster) has been putting fish in the box for since we started in 2017.  We took the basic splash bar design from the East Coast and made a few changes that ultimately resulted in a spreader bar that is lightweight and can be trolled at a higher rate of speed, and puts a hurting on the fish.  We built this bar with a small 7 inch center splash bird to decrease weight and drag, making this bar a great first bar for anyone that still has the strength and ability to land massive tuna.

This bar puts up a ton of water and has proven time and time again to be the best option for those just getting into the game of spreader bars. 

 A 1/8 inch grade 5 Titanium Bar is used resulting in a strong yet flexible and light weight platform. These Bars include 5 drops, rattles, and 13 floating squid in various sizes. Our Spreader Bars are hand constructed in Southern California using top quality materials. We use 300lb smoke blue mono for all drops, Aluminum sleeves, two 5 inch light weight splash birds on the outside lines ensure maximum splash, and a chase bait rigged with 300lb Flourocarbon leader for chafe resistance.  We use chafe protectors on all connections and a heavy duty 450lb double ball bearing snap swivel to attach the chase bait.  Each bar comes with one rigged chase bait (stinger) that has a 9/0 - 11/0 7691 SS style XL hook . Each spreader bar comes with a heavy duty carrying case as well that can be rinsed and hung dry. At Odyssea Tackle we also use  floats inserted in each teaser. This helps to keep the bar from sinking when left out behind the boat while fighting another fish.
