Our Jigging leaders are built with your choice of 150,200, or 300lb Fluorocarbon, a heavy duty Sampo ball bearing swivel, and a 340lb Low Profile Nomad Split Ring. We use chafe tube and aluminum Crimps. We rig all day and do it right. Don’t lose your fish due to a hand crimped leader. Make sure your leaders are bench crimped and ends burned!
all leaders are approximately 48” in length. Leaders Do not come with assist hook. Those must be purchased separately.
Rigging Tip: When fishing for Bluefin with jigs, add an assist hook (does not come with one) to your jigging leader by attaching the split ring on the end of the leader to the solid ring on your assist hook. Leave this hook on at all times and store with hook attached to leader. When changing jigs out just use our Odyssea Mini Split ring pliers or pliers of your choice to clip the split ring on a new lures top welded ring. Leave an additional assist hook on the bottom eye of every lure and store with the assist hook attached, this way you can quickly switch out jigs and have a hook on both the top and bottom. You don't need to purchase a separate hook for the top of every jig this way and with short jigs that don't need a bottom hook, this method allows you to store those short jigs with no hooks.
