A West Coast Killer, the "Monster Bird" spreader bar combines the effectiveness of the Original Tuna Bar with an added 12 inch Splash bird This bar has the works. This bar puts up a ton of water mimicking a fleeing bait ball, and has proven time and again to be the "go to" spreader bar for the biggest tuna. This spreader bar has our "Vortex" rattles which cause additional noise and splash, effects the fish can't resist. We utilize torpedo floats inserted in each teaser, allowing the bar to sit higher on the surface when the boat is stopped, preventing it from sinking out. The Monster Bar has all the bells and whistles that make it the top producer in our lineup.
A 1/8 inch grade 5 Titanium Bar is used resulting in a strong yet flexible and light weight platform. These Bars include 5 drops, rattles, and 13 floating squid in various sizes. Our Spreader Bars are hand constructed in Southern California using top quality materials. We use 300lb smoke blue mono for all drops standard on the Monster Bar, Aluminum sleeves, two 5 inch light weight splash birds to ensure maximum commotion to attract those fish. We incorporate rattles and floats as well. Each bar comes with a chase bait that is matched to suit the chosen color and fully rigged and ready to go. We use chafe protectors on all crimped connections and a 450lb ball bearing snap swivel to attach the chase bait. We utilize a super strong thick gauge 7619 Mustad SS hook from 9/0-12/0 depending on chase bait size. Each spreader bar comes with a durable UV protected carrying case.
